Hello! My name is Arwen, and I have always considered myself an avid writer. I love writing anything from short stories and poems to longer more academic papers, all of which are available on my website. I would also consider myself a book worm, and I even read 205 books in one year…though in the years since, I have been closer to 60-100 books a year:) I love spending time outdoors on hikes and shopping with my friends. I also enjoy baking and traveling to other countries. When I bake, I usually make some sort of French pastry, such as croissants, cream puffs, éclairs, or macarons. I spend a lot of time thinking, and writing, stories, and I hope to publish a children’s picture book in the next few years. Some of my favorite authors include Katherine Arden and Chloe Gong, and they have inspired some of my short stories. Currently, I have two of my stories published in my school’s literary magazine, both can be found on this website:) As a long term career, I hope to become a cardiothoracic surgeon, but I still want to continue writing and making children’s books.
